Arthur “Art” C. Graber, 86, Greentown, passed away at 1:55 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017, at his residence. He was born April 23, 1931, in Daviess County to Levi and Lydia (Wagler) Graber.  On June 2, 1956, in Howard-Miami Mennonite Church, he married Sarah Miller, and she survives.

He was a farmer for many years and he worked for Hochstetler Energy Services in Greentown, retiring in 1995. He was also a journeyman plumber. He was a member of Parkview Mennonite Church. Art enjoyed doing woodwork and small engine repair.

Survivors are wife, Sarah Graber; daughter, Janice Graber of Greentown; son, Maurice and wife Lynn Graber of Plainfield; daughter, Cindy and husband John Wetmore of Niles, Michigan; ; son, Damon and wife Presta Graber of Greentown; sister, Mary and husband Mel Swartzentruber of Indianapolis; sister, Nancy and husband Ora Wittmer of Odon; brother, Elmer Graber of Goshen; brother, Ezra Graber of Loogootee; brother, Jacob and wife Tillie Graber of Kokomo; grandchildren, Ashley and husband Cory Mote, Leah Wetmore, Cherie and husband Justin Cozadd, Tami and husband Tom Roberts, Lisa and husband Dave Oxender; great grandchildren, Hannah Wetmore, Paige Wetmore, Alec McIlroy, Cody Roberts, Giorgia Fuller, Hunter Harkrider, Colin Cozadd, and Heaven Oxender; great-great grandchild, Oliver Huntman.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, his parents, brothers, Mahlon and Lewis Graber, sisters, Adeline Richer, Corriene Wagler, Elizabeth Stoll, and Rosanna Kemp, and 4 sisters in law and 4 brothers in law.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, at Howard-Miami Mennonite Church, 3976 E. 1400 S. with Pastors Grace Whitehead and Frank Kandel officiating. Burial will follow in Mast-Hensler Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Mennonite Church.
