The death of a loved one is a difficult time. During this time, a family needs the help of a professional to provide steady influence and counsel. This is what we have been offering families for over 100 years.
One night of calling or visitation followed by a funeral the next day.
A few hours of calling or visitation the same day as the funeral service.
Full range of cremation services available on-site.
A service in memory of the deceased without the body present. A brief visitation may take place before or after the service.
All locations offer DVD's using pictures provided by families. These can be running during visitation or before the service.
Live webcasting has been added as a service to families at Shirley & Stout, Stout & Son and Hasler-Stout Funeral Homes. This feature allows families to broadcast funerals to those out of town friends and relatives who are unable to travel to the service. A high-speed internet connection is needed for the recipient to view the service. “Our funeral homes are equipped to handle the transmission and many, but not all churches can do so as well,” said Jeff Stout, co-owner. “Families can offer this to those interested by giving them an access link from our websites and a protected password.” As a community service, the funeral homes have also offered this to churches to broadcast special holiday services to their homebound members.
All of our services encourage personalization and individual preferences. We value input from the family regarding the obituary, music, flowers, the location of the services, special interests of the deceased, etc. We will do everything to honor your wishes for the memorial ceremony that reflects the life of your loved one.
Our funeral homes offer lounges for family members to take a break. All locations have complimentary coffee and bottled water available as well as paper products. Refrigeration and microwaves are also provided.
