Joshua “Josh” Alan Ebenhart, 28, Kokomo, passed away at 3:19 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2017, at his home.  He was born June 10, 1989, in Kokomo, to Mark A. and Deborah (Cunningham) Ebenhart. 

Josh attended Kokomo High School and worked in construction.  He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and camping.

He is survived by his parents; daughter, Abigail Grace Ebenhart; sisters, Alexis (Derek) Chelednik, Briana (Brayden) Broens and Summer Kitts; grandparents, Gary Cunningham, Sr. and Delores Cunningham; uncles, Gary Cunningham, Jr. and Mike Cunningham; aunts, Michelle Troxell and Ella Cunningham; and nephew, Otto Chelednik.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Cox, and grandfather, John Ebenhart.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2017, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Becky Sundquist officiating.  Friends are invited to visit from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for Abigail in care of Mark and Deborah Ebenhart.  Messages of condolence may be expressed online at www.shirleyandstout.com.

I am so saddened over this loss. May you find peace in knowing Josh has found his peace. I have no magic words that will help your pain but I do have two ears, two ears that will listen with no judgment, only love and patience. Our prayers are yours!
