Linda L. Smith, 65 of Greentown passed away at 2:58 am on February 2, 2017 at Community Howard Regional Health. She was born on January 30, 1952 in Mercer, PA to Rex and Cora (Perska) Clendening. 
 
Linda was a 1971 Shenango High School graduate. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greentown. Linda felt at home in the church and was going to teach her first Sunday School class on February 5th but passed away unexpectedly. She always loved to visit and pray with her friends and family. Linda deeply loved her grandchildren and they sadly miss her. 
 
Survivors include her daughter Michelle (Kevin) Bosworth of Des Moines, IA; son Jason (Gina) Keninger of Waterloo, IA; six grandchildren Faith, Micah, Julianna, Sierra, Emmy, Maggie; one sister; one brother; former husband Michael Williams of Swayzee; beloved dog Aussie Lu.
 
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Rex and Cora Clendening and one sister. 
 
Funeral services will be at 11 am on Monday, February 6, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 325 E. Payton St., with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 11 am at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church. Online condolences may be left at www.hasler-stout.com.
