William "Bill" James Sims

William “Bill” James Sims, 53 years old, of Kokomo, passed away Saturday January 10, 2026, at his home. He was born in Kokomo, IN, on January 3, 1973, the son of the late William Joseph Sims and Julie (Spraker) Sims.

Bill was a generous man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was the life of the party and enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He will be remembered for being a very social man and so easy to talk to. Bill was a great conversationalist, and he was the best confidant.
Bill is survived by his stepchildren, Justin Snodgrass, Jeremiah Snodgrass, Felicia Snodgrass; sister, Mandi Black; nieces, Britanny Black, Brandy Black; nephew, Kyle Black; great-nephews, Elijah Black, Brayden Black; and great-niece, Hayleigh Black.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, James Black; and fiancé, Melissa Hawkins.
