William “Bill” Charles Clark, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday July 23, 2025, at his home. He was born in Kokomo, IN, on July 22, 1960, the son of the late Franklin Edward and Eleanor Jane (Tumulty) Clark.
Bill was a 1979 graduate of Northwestern High School. He later received a Bachelor’s in Forest Resources, Production, and Management from Purdue University in 1983. He served a career in the lumber industry in Florida, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. He retired in 2023 from Timberland Lumber Co. in Indianapolis, where he served as a door and window specialist. Bill was an avid Purdue University fan. One of his favorite traditions was attending the Indianapolis 500 each year. He cherished time he spent with his nieces and nephew, especially when the whole family met up for the holidays. He will be remembered for being a kind-hearted man.
Bill is survived by his brother, Joe and his wife Robin (Helms) Clark; sister-in-law, Geralyn (Tracx) Clark; nieces, Lillian and Evelyn; nephew, Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eleanor Clark; brother, Mark Clark; and aunt, Nancy Tumulty.
A graveside service celebrating Bill’s life will be held at 10:30 am, on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Albright Cemetery. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
