William C. Krajewski

William C. Krajewski, 86, Greentown passed away at 2:28 a.m. on January 21, 2022, in Century Villa Healthcare, Greentown. He was born April 6, 1935, in Kokomo to Chester and Beulah (Kendal) Krajewski.

He graduated from Western High School in 1953 and went on to serve in the United States Marines from 1956 until being honorably discharged in 1958. Bill had worked at Continental Steel before its closing and then went to work for Duke Energy in the warehouse. He was a member of American Legion Post #317 in Greentown.

He is survived by his sons, Stan (Sara) Krajewski, Matt Krajewski and stepchildren, Carol Higley, Mike Smith, and Marty (Kathy) Smith. Brothers, Jim Krajewski and Eddie (Mary Ann) Krajewski. 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  Sister in laws, Susan Krajewski, Linda Singer and Peggy Duncan and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Krajewski, brother, Bart Krajewski and sister, Judy Porter.

Following Bill’s wishes a graveside service will be held in Marion National Cemetery 1700 E 38th St, Marion, IN 46953 Friday January 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with military rites provided by the American Legion Post # 317. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #317 111 N. Meridian St. Greentown, IN 46936. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hasler & Stout Funeral Home 112 E. Main Street Greentown.
