Timothy Allen McAninch Obituary

Timothy Allen McAninch, 64, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away in his home on June 8, 2026. He was born on February 27, 1962, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Robert McAninch and Darlene James Wilkerson.
Timothy lived a life marked by hard work, service, and devotion to his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Italy, an experience that became a memorable part of his life story.
Before beginning his career at Chrysler, Timothy worked at Sister’s Chicken and Biscuits, where he met the love of his life, Regina. What began there grew into a life, a family, and many years of memories together. He later worked in the Chrysler cafeteria before officially starting his career with Chrysler, where he worked for many years until his retirement.
Timothy was a provider in every sense of the word. He worked hard, lived simply, and cared deeply for the people he loved. He had a practical nature, a frugal streak, and a way of showing love that was often found in the things he did for others. He gave shelter when it was needed, shared what he had, and taught his children lessons that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
He will be remembered for his strength, his stubbornness, his humor, and the stories his family will continue to tell. Like many of the best people, Timothy was not just one thing. He was hardworking and funny, serious and caring, practical and sentimental in his own way. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and memories that his family will carry forward.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Darlene James Wilkerson, Robert Wilkerson, and Robert McAninch; and his brother, Jeffrey McAninch.
He is survived by his loving wife, Regina McAninch; his children, Kayleigh McAninch and Travis Lahr, Reanna Chilcote and Joshua Chilcote, and Allen-Micheal McAninch; and his grandchildren, Zackary Moore, Aiden Chilcote, Mia Moore, and Thomas Chilcote, and his brother Adam Wilkerson; as well as uncle, Rex James.
Timothy was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend. His family will miss him deeply, but they will continue to honor him through the stories they share, the lessons he taught, and the love he leaves behind.
