Thomas E. Stone

 Thomas E. Stone, 71, Kokomo, passed away at 7:50 am on Saturday October 9, 2021, at Hospice Home Northeast.  He was born to Luther Stone and Lavada (Cook) Roberson on October 9, 1950.  On September 9, 1978, he married Bertha “Tootie” King. 

Thomas served in the United States Army. He worked as a mechanic.

Thomas is survived by his stepfather Eugene Roberson; children, Thomas “Luke” (Beth) Stone, T.J. Stone, Kellie Huntsman, Andrea (Bill) Huntsman and Scott (Dotty) Huntsman; sister, Gloria Roberson; four brothers, Richard Roberson, Mark Roberson, Michael Roberson and Eugene Roberson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sisters, Judy Wallace and Kay Stone; stepsons, Mark Huntsman, Jeff Huntsman; and stepbrothers, Matthew Roberson and David Roberson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Luke Stone officiating. Military Rites will be provided by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
