Terry Wayne Larimore Obituary

Terry Wayne Larimore, 82, of Kokomo, passed away at 5:48 am Monday, November 3, 2025, at his home. He was born September 28, 1943 in Cass County, IN, the son of the late Meredith and Mary Alice (Kleckner) Larimore. On May 7, 1966, he married Barbara Ann Fitz at the Faith Lutheran Church in Carroll County, who preceded him in death on October 18, 2021.

Terry was a 1962 graduate of Carroll High School. He served in the United States Army from August 1966 to August of 1972, serving in Vietnam, and earning the rank of SP5. On April 30, 2002, he retired from Chrysler Corporation after 34 years of service. Terry was an avid sports fan and a Disney enthusiast. He enjoyed his trips to Treasure Island Florida with Barbara. Terry enjoyed his family lunches with his siblings, nieces, and nephews where they would reminisce about great times that had passed. Above all, Terry’s grandchildren were near and dear to his heart.

Terry is survived by his sons, Tim (Lori) Larimore, Russiaville, Mark Larimore, Kokomo, and Danny (Abby) Larimore, Marysville, OH; grandchildren, Shelby Larimore, Derek Larimore, Emily (Jack) Essig, Mason Larimore, and Olivia Larimore; siblings, Ruth Ann (Rudy) Domke, Larry “Buck” (Paula) Larimore, and Nancy Larimore; sister-in-law, Linda Fitz; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his wife Barbara, Terry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Laurel “Junior” Larimore, Harold “Max” Larimore, and John Larimore.

A funeral service celebrating Terry’s life will take place at 5 pm Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Joe Johnson officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3 pm until the start of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. A committal service will take place at 11 am Friday, November 7, 2025, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1800 Grant Street, Logansport, where military honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team Post 1152.
