Terria Lynn Cottingham

Terria Lynn Cottingham, 44, of Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at her home. She was born on March 31, 1982, the daughter of Terry Gene and Jennell L. (Sagarsee) Cottingham in Kokomo, Indiana.

Terria was a graduate of Kokomo High School. Terria leaves us with this legacy she was a devoted follower of Jesus, a warrior with God's strength, and a woman of transformative faith—has stepped victoriously into the arms of her Savior. Terria did not merely endure a long war with her health; she fought with divine purpose. Daily, she chose to carry her cross, battling generational curses, changing fixed mindsets, and allowing herself to be radically changed to become more like Christ. Even in her hardest moments, her capacity for genuine compassion for others never wavered. She was, in every sense, the hands and feet of Jesus.

Terria found immense joy in serving the Lord at her church and uplifting others through women's ministry & conferences.

She was a daughter who honored her father and mother, a sister who helped her siblings and a friend who cannot be replaced ❤️

She loved being a mother and absolutely cherished her role as "Tma" to her granddaughters, wrapping them in the deep love and faith that defined her life.

Terria is survived by her devoted mother, Jennell Lynn Sagarsee; her children, Destiny Daniell Rush (husband Drew) and Draco Nollenberger; her precious granddaughters, Phoebe Leeann Rush and Penny Lynnelle Rush; brothers, Matthew Cottingham, Christopher Cottingham, Nicolas Cottingham, and Gordon Grey; and alongside a large circle of loved ones.

She will be missed by many, until we see her again. She is peacefully reunited in Heaven with her father, Terry Gene Cottingham, and her sister, Jessica Danielle Cottingham.

A funeral service celebrating Terria’s life will be held a 2 pm, Thursday, June 25, 2026, at her home church, The Well Church, 1128 S. Purdum St. Kokomo, IN. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am until the time of the service at the church. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
