Stacey Rene Yotter

Stacey Rene (Workman) Yotter, of Kokomo and formerly Warsaw, IN, passed away in her sleep on December 25, 2025, at the age of 59. Stacey was born on December 27, 1965, to Kathleen (Leeper) and David Workman in Warsaw, where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1985.

Stacey spent much of her life caring for children, running a home daycare in Warsaw and later, working at MicroChips Early Learning Center in Kokomo. She was a devoted grandma. Spending time with her grandson Bennett was her favorite pastime.

Stacey is survived by her children, Brandon Yotter, of Indianapolis, Jillian Yotter and Kati Sherman, of Kokomo; her grandson, Bennett Sherman of Kokomo; her mother, Kathleen Workman of Noblesville; her sister, Sarah (and Jerry) Richardson of Westfield; her nephew, Will Richardson, and niece, Madeline Richardson, both of Westfield.  She was preceded in death by her father, David Workman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 11 am – 1 pm at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W Lincoln Rd, Kokomo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Community Health Network Foundation, 7330 Shadeland Station, Suite 150, Indianapolis, IN, 46256, in honor of the compassionate care she received while at Community Heart & Vascular Hospital.
