Sandra Smith Obituary

Sandra Smith, 75, Kokomo, passed away at 1:26 pm on Friday November 19, 2021, at Community Howard Regional Health.  She was born August 2, 1946, to the late Wilbur and Agnes Velma (Hughes) Stinchcomb.  On December 24, 1965, she married Ronald F. Smith and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2006.

Sandra was a 1964 graduate of Kokomo High School. She was a bus driver for Western High School and retired from Delco Electronics.  She had her own business in Kokomo called the Old Toy Box Store. She was a member of Crossroads Miata Club in Kansas City, MO., RV Family Motor Coach Association 497695, and the Train Collectors Association Eastern Division.  She enjoyed sailing, swimming and any activity that would bring joy to others. 

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Joy (Kelly) Scott; granddaughter, Krystal Scott; two brothers, Floyd (Linda) Stinchcomb and Ronnie Stinchcomb; and significant other, Al Duvall.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday November 30, 2021, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. Russiaville. Burial to follow in Crown Point Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday November 29, 2021, at the funeral home.  Donation’s may be made in Sandra’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
