Samantha Mae Akers, 31, Kokomo, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at her home. She was born February 15, 1991, in Kokomo, the daughter of David Akers and Lois Anthony.

Samantha was a Pokémon enthusiast. She also enjoyed playing video games such as Zelda. She loved spending time with her family and friends and her cat, Zune.

Samantha is survived by her father, David Akers; mother, Lois Anthony; brother, Lee (Autumn) Anthony; grandmother, Harriet Ward; nieces and nephews, Zoanna Stout, Addelynn Anthony and David Morrison; and 3 uncles, 5 aunts and several cousins.

Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie Ward and Dessie “Jean” (David) Anthony.
