Sallie M. "Nadine" (Ferguson) Kressley

Sallie M. “Nadine” Kressley, 92, Kokomo, passed away at 1:25 pm Friday September 19, 2025, at Waterford Place in Kokomo. She was born January 18, 1933, in Cumberland, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Joseph & Dora (York) Ferguson. 

Sallie retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service, where she was respected for her commitment and work ethic. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beyond her professional achievements, she was an avid quilter and enjoyed making them for veterans and an active member of the Eastern Star, where she formed many lasting friendships and contributed to community service projects.

Sallie is survived by her loving children, Janie (Joe) Beals and Ray Kressley; her cherished grandchildren, Dayle (Aimee) Day, Christina Turner, Jessica Kressley (Jeremy Coy), and Joe (Kat) King; nine great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy, Elizabeth Collingsworth, Zane Day, Jeremy Day, Seth Turner, Genesis Blake, Jaden Blake, Kennedy Blake, Harper King and Amelia King; and five great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, Stella Simpson and Doris Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mark Kressley; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy and Amy Day; and 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

In keeping with Sallie’s wishes, no services will be held.  Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.  Burial will be held in Albright Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made in Sallie’s memory to Jackson Street Commons, 322 E. Jackson Street, Kokomo Indiana, 46901.
