Rosario James Galletta

Rosario James Galletta, 71, Kokomo, passed away at 1:10 am Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo, Indiana. He was born March 10, 1954, in Titusville, PA, the son of the late Charles & Eleanor (Ciepleclowicz) Galletta.

Rosario was a graduate of Titusville High School and furthered his education by attending Clarion University. He spent his professional career in operations, specializing in window and door installations, a field where he applied his meticulous nature and strong work ethic. Rosario was very proud of his country and proudly served in the United States Air Force.

An avid outdoorsman, Rosario had a profound love for nature which was reflected in his hobbies. He was passionate about fishing, hunting, and building things with his hands. Additionally, he enjoyed panning for gold, an activity that combined his love for the outdoors with his keen sense of adventure.

Rosario was a beloved figure in his family, survived by his children, Kate Lynch, Michael (Chelsea) Galletta, Theresa Galletta, and Sean (Lauren) Galletta; step-daughter, Elizabeth (Matthew) Birch; 13 grandchildren; and siblings, Anthony Galletta, Charles Galletta Jr., Joseph Galletta, and Pamela Webb. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Rosario was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kimberly; and his sister, Angela O'Pelt.

In keeping with Rosario's wishes, no services will be held. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
