Ronald Humphrey

Ronald Humphrey, 81, Kokomo, passed away at 5:25 pm Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo.  He was born September 13, 1936, in Harrisburg, IL, the son of the late Freeman & Lois (Hancock) Humphrey.  In March of 1985, he married Audrey Anderson Mertens who preceded him in death on September 15, 2012. 

Ronald served with the United States Air Force.  He worked for Chrysler Corp from 1963-1965, retiring in 1993 from Delco Electronics after 28 years of service. 

Ronald is survived by his children, Ronald F. Humphrey, Steven W. Humphrey, Rene Mertens Bailey, and Doug (Sheila) Mertens; grandchildren, Kayla Humphrey, Morgan Bailey, Blake (Stephanie) Mertens, Sarah Mertens, Danielle (Jesse) Schieler; great-grandchildren, Lovie Humphrey, Brooke, Rylie, Kaitlyn and Logan Mertens; siblings, Margaret Faye Humphrey Prather, Charles Michael Humphrey, Francis Lynn Humphrey Holliman, Philip Dean Humphrey, Carol Arlene Humphrey Wilkinson, and Terri Humphrey Steven; and step-mother, Ida Mae Humphrey.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; wife; siblings, Bobby Gene Humphrey, Lenora Ann Humphrey Basham, and Peggy Sue Humphrey Richey.
