Roger Leonard Kaschmitter

Roger Leonard Kaschmitter, 72, of Russiaville, passed away at 7:10 am on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis with his wife at his bedside.

He was born on June 10, 1953, the son of Leonard and Delma (Byrd) Kaschmitter.  He was a 1971 graduate of Ritenour High School. He worked at Chrysler and retired after 33 years of service.

Roger is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Cindy Meyers) Kaschmitter, his soulmate of 47 years.

Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He loved sitting at the kitchen table or on the deck, weather permitting, having his morning coffee watching the birds and on occasion a few deer may pass by.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Delma Kaschmitter and sister Sandy Edwards.

Keeping with Roger’s wishes there will not be public services.
