Obituary
Richard D. Burton, 70, of Kokomo, passed away at 7:43 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo. He was born February 14, 1953, in Kokomo, to George Woodrow and Dorothy M. (Haskell) Burton. On October 18, 1975, he married Anna “Faye” Penticuff, in Greentown, and she preceded him in death on May 18, 2011.
Richard graduated from Kokomo High School in 1971. He was a semi driver and during his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, playing pool, and playing music.
Survivors include his daughters, Misty Burton and Kim Johnson; grandchildren, Neona Burton, Chelsea Merrell-Butler, Sophie Johnson, Demi Johnson, D.J. Johnson, and Sam Johnson; and sister, Sharon Alexander.
In addition to his wife, Faye Burton, he was preceded in death by his parents and son, Billy Miller.
