Rebbecca "Becky" June (St. Clair) Vermilion

Rebbecca “Becky” June (St. Clair) Vermilion, 66, of Greentown, passed away 6:25 am Sunday November 5, 2023, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on October 30, 1957, the daughter of the late Elmer and Pauline (Montgomery) St. Clair. On July 30, 1988, she married Steve Vermilion, and he survives.

Becky held several jobs at Gill’s Pharmacy, King’s Crown Inn, Comet Cone in Greentown, and at the Breakfast House. Her longest tenure was at Rizzo’s in Kokomo where she worked the salad bar. She was a mainly a homebody but she adored the time that she spent spoiling her grandchildren. She loved listening to country music. Becky was a strong woman and was a fighter in her bouts with cancer.

In addition to her husband Steve, she is survived by her daughter, Alisha Evans; stepchildren, Terry W. (Teri) Vermilion, Angela Locklear, Ryan David Vermilion; siblings, Bill St. Clair, Jerry St. Clair, Diane Ireland, Tom St. Clair, Dane St. Clair; grandchildren, Tyler Paul, Kayla Paul, Kaleb Evans, Khloe Evans, Makenzye Myers, Austyn Myers, Fayth Myers; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Pauline St. Clair; daughter, Amanda Nixon; and siblings, Jim St. Clair, Nancy McGinnis, Jeanie Crabtree, Charles St. Clair.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 am to Noon Monday November 13, 2023, at Stout & Son Funeral Home – Russiaville Chapel, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville IN 46979. Funeral service will begin at Noon on Monday at the funeral home, with Dave Mygrant officiating. Burial will follow in Russiaville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Becky’s name to Stout & Son Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
