Raymond Francis Farmer, 70, of Kokomo, passed away at 8:40 a.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born March 14, 1952, in Kokomo, to Raymond M. and Mary Jean (Whaley) Farmer. On February 25, 1972, he married Deborah B. Pritts, in Knoxville, Tennessee, and she survives.
Raymond graduated from Taylor High School in 1971. He worked at Chrysler as a job setter for 37 years, before retiring in 2007. Raymond enjoyed hunting, camping, attending car shows, where he showed his 1987 Dodge Dakota, and taking care of his dog. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities.
In addition to his wife, Deborah Farmer, survivors include his son, Michael (Brittney) Farmer; grandchildren, Seth Farmer, Samuel Farmer, Slater Farmer and Sage Farmer; brothers, Joseph (Anetta) Farmer and Pete (Darlene) Farmer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Theresa Farmer-Pate.
