Patrick "Pat" F. Brown

Patrick “Pat” F. Brown, 75, of Kokomo, passed away on Friday March 15, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital – Kokomo. He was born at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C., on October 7, 1948, the son of the late Walter Albert Brown Jr. and Mary Irene (Shively) Brown. On May 17, 1975, he married Lucinda “Cindy” Ann Fisher at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kokomo, and she survives.

Pat was a 1966 graduate of Kokomo High School. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana University Kokomo in 1981. Pat served in the United States Army Reserve from 1968 to 1998 and earned the rank of E-8 Sergeant. He began working at Caterpillar Tractor in Lafayette until he retired in 2009 as a Quality Control Manager. Pat’s favorite hobbies were golfing, doing yard work, and antiquing.

In addition to his wife Cindy of 49 years, Pat is survived by his sisters, Teresa Ann Camden, Walton, Katherine Marie Frakes, Kokomo; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Albert Brown Jr. and Mary Irene (Shively) Brown; and brother, Walter Albert Brown III.

In honor of Pat’s wishes, he will be cremated with no public services scheduled. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
