Patricia Lou Bohannon Obituary

Patricia Lou Bohannon, 95, Lebanon, passed away at 2:41 pm on Wednesday June 10, 2026. She was born in Kokomo, on September 23, 1930, the daughter of the late George and Edna (Waskom) Coombs. On September 18, 1955, she married Robert K. Bohannon, and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2004.

Pat graduated from Kokomo High School in 1949. She worked at the Kokomo Credit Bureau for 11 years until she became a full-time homemaker. While taking care of her family and home she was also a volunteer tour guide for the Seiberling Mansion in Kokomo. When the boys were older, she became a seamstress at Dionysus Designs, a dressmaking business, until she and Bob moved to Marion in 1987. One of the special items she was able to make while being a seamstress was her daughter-in-law’s wedding dress. Pat was a lifetime crafter, knitter, crocheter, embroiderer, and sewer but quilting was what she loved the most. Learning to quilt from her family, she continued this legacy by passing it on to her daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Before moving to Crown Pointe in Lebanon, Pat regularly attended Woodland Hills Church of Christ in Marion. Pat became a member of the Friday Stitchers Embroidery Group in the early 2000’s as well as the Marie Webster’s Quilt Guild and the Marion Quilter’s Hall of Fame.

Pat is survived by two sons, Michael K. (Susannah) Bohannon, and Mark A. (Patricia) Bohannon; 5 grandchildren, Sarah (Cody) Burke, Christopher Bohannon, Katie (Alex) Krohannon, Michelle (Ben) Dunn, and Cody Bohannon; and 5 great grandchildren, AJ, Danielle, Landon, Aurelia, and Lottie Jane.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband; infant sister; and her grandson, Robbie.
