Patricia Ann Hostetler, 69, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, after a life devoted to her family and friends. Born on September 12, 1956, Patricia was known for her kind heart, quick wit, and ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her.
On May 27, 1973, she married her high-school sweetheart, David E. Hostetler. Together they built a loving family and raised three children: Karen Mullenix, Melissa Hostetler, and David W. Hostetler.
Patricia was an entrepreneur dedicating her time to two family businesses in Paris, Illinois, The Fan Attic and Fast Tan., where she enjoyed serving her community. She also shared her enthusiasm for fitness by teaching step aerobics for several years. In her later working years, Patricia assisted customers through her work at Lowe's in Terre Haute.
When she wasn't working, she enjoyed playing bingo, puzzle games, and spending time outdoors in the sun.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Orville King, Jr.; her mother, Mildred Humerickhouse; her brother, Michael; and her sister, Edna.
She leaves behind her best friend, David E. Hostetler; her three children, Karen Mullenix, Melissa Hostetler, and David W. Hostetler (Susie); a sister, Lisa Dotterweich (Joe), and her five cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Landon, Wesley, and Calen. Her warmth, infectious humor, and generous spirit will be missed.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from Noon to 2 pm Saturday July 11, 2026, at Howard – Miami Mennonite Church, 3976 E. 1400 S., Kokomo, IN 46901. A private graveside will be held in Christner Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Aaron Beechy. Hasler – Stout Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
