Pamela “Pammy Sue” Smith, passed away on March 2, 2026. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose laughter and love touched all who knew her.
Pammy Sue is survived by her husband, Gerald Smith; her son Josh (Shanell) Heath, their daughter Cyrille Heath and sons Machi and Khalil Jones; and her daughter Andrea (Diane) and Andrea’s children, Wynter Perry and Zane Schmaltz. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
Known for her kind heart and vibrant spirit, Pammy Sue was an avid animal lover who enjoyed fishing, bowling, and reading. She especially loved paranormal and true‑crime shows. Her favorite flower was the skunk from Bambi and loved all things Betty Boop. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Crystal Stover; her brother David Stover Jr. and his wife Pam Stover; and sisters‑in‑law Dorthy Stover and Penny Williams.
She is survived by sisters Diana (Eric) Williams of Flora and Cindy (Mike) Cadwallader of Romney; brothers Greg (Darlene) Williams of Galveston, Jack Stover of Lafayette, and Dwayne Williams of Kokomo; as well as many nieces, nephews, great‑nieces, great‑nephews, and great‑great‑nieces and nephews. Not to mention the vast number of cousins far and wide.
Pammy Sue’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a spirit that made every room brighter. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, with Pastor Ted Lucas officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses. Messages of condolence may be made at www.shirleyandstout.com.
