Nicole Lynn Horn

Nicole Lynn Horn, 42, Kokomo, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at her home. She was born on September 21, 1983, in Kokomo, the daughter of Michael and Terry (Wagner) Grider. On May 21, 2015, she married Dakota J. Horn in Tippecanoe County, and he loved her very much.

Nicole was a 2002 graduate of Kokomo High School. She had been working for Red Gold for the previous 3 years. Nicole absolutely loved her dog, Atticus and Aleister the cat. She was a wonderful daughter and a friend to many.

In addition to her husband Dakota, Nicole is survived by her parents Michael and Terry Grider; grandmother, Shirley Wagner; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Nicole was preceded in death by her brother, Michael James Grider; paternal grandparents, Albert & Pansy Grider; and maternal grandfather, James Wagner.

No services will take place at this time. Cremation has been entrusted to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home.
