Michael "Mike" John Bailey

Michael “Mike” John Bailey, 81, of Kokomo, passed away at 12:55 am, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on December 27, 1943, the son of the late John and Betty (Hatfield) Bailey. On July 26, 1963, Mike married Myrna Bailey at Trinity Methodist Church in Kokomo, and she survives.

Mike was a 1962 graduate of Kokomo High School. He was employed at Chrysler for 31 years. Mike was a member of the Kokomo Bass Anglers. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Along with his wife, Myrna, he is survived by his children, Brad Bailey and Beth (Jeff) Lang; grandchildren, Derick Bailey, Zachary Bailey, Travis (Flora) Lang, Lindsay Lang, and Kasey Lang; great-grandchildren, Tanner Bailey, Brantley Bailey, Paisleigh Bailey and Opal Jones; and siblings, Marsha (Mike) Smith, Marla Haynes, and Margo Harbin.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
