Michael J. “Mike” Tuberty, 79, Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born July 2, 1942, at Memorial Hospital in Logansport, the son of Harold J. and Virginia (Wise) Tuberty.  On April 23, 1966, at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church, Logansport, he married Judith K. Pasquale, who survives.

Mike was a 1960 graduate of Logansport High School, a 1964 graduate of Wabash College and a 1968 graduate of the University of Detroit, where he received a Master of Science degree in Industrial Psychology. Mike was a longtime supporter of youth sports and for many years was a volunteer assistant basketball coach at Western Middle School and an assistant coach in the Russiaville Girls Softball League. He enjoyed working with and shaping the athletic skills of young men and women. He also loved gardening, traveling, photography, stamp collecting, watching and caring for birds, viewing sporting events and all the activities of his children and grandchildren, being with his family, and loving all the family pets.
