Merrill A. Wolff, 73, Kokomo, passed away at 11:32 p.m. Jan. 5 at his home. He was born Jan. 22, 1945, in Peru to Kenneth and Elizabeth (Grosswiler) Wolff. On May 16, 1964, Merrill married Frankie C. Mullins, and she passed away Nov. 18, 2013.
Merrill was an Oak Hill High School graduate, and from 1970 to the present he was owner and operator of Wolff’s Insulation Service. He was a member of Cicero Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Howard County Home Builders Association, ICAA and Insulate America. Merrill loved to go fly fishing, enriching his grandchildren’s lives, and helping others.
Survivors include his two sons, David M. Wolff, of Florida, Douglas A. (Tammy) Wolff, of Tipton; two daughters, Kathleen Magaly (Matt) Brown, of Kokomo, Fab (Captain Hannah) Paxton, of Dana Point, California; grandchildren, Mindy (Randall Carrasquillo) Huff, Kelley (Trent) Schwartz, David Wolff, Jacob Wolff, Krista Barber, Lexci (Daniel ) Gibson, Kaleb (Cheryl) Brown, Devon Brown, Jayda Brown, Dayne Brown; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Lily, Mason, Kaydance, Kilee, Kloe; sisters, Rhonda Dike, Carla Cramer; and a brother, Wayne Lewis Sharp, friend and companion Polly Clover.
Merrill was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth Wolff; wife, Frankie Wolff; son, Tony Wolff; and a brother, David Dean Wolff.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Aaron Clark officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral services. Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
