Mary Stanley Obituary

Mary Lou Stanley, 95, Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. She was born April 4, 1928, in Marion, VA, the daughter of John and Winnie (Weaver) Pasley.

Mary enjoyed word searches and adult coloring books, as well as games and art on her tablet. She loved Gunsmoke and watching the Andy Griffith Show.

Mary is survived by her children, Logene Stanley, Veronica Kinsey, Michael Stanley, Virginia (Hazel) Pelgen, John (Tricia) Stanley, James (Josie) Stanley, Patrick (Irene) Stanley, and Carolyn (Billie) Paul; and brother, Robert Pasley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Bernada Armstrong; and sister, Clara Daughn Foxworth.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road with Pastor Michael Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Friday, at the funeral home.
