Marjorie Ann Sinnamon Obituary

Marjorie Ann Sinnamon, 82, of Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, October 29,2025. She was bon on August 23, 1943, in Kokomo, the daughter of Harry and Mildred (Scott) Metcalf. On August 27, 1961, in Kokomo, Marjorie married Sunny Sinnamon, and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2019.

Marjorie graduated from Northwestern High School in 1961. She worked as a Beautician for over 50 years for humans and 4-H animals, farm wife for 64 years, farm owner/ operator for 6 years, Ervin Township Assessor for several years, and was the grandma taxi service for 28 years. Marjorie enjoyed crafting, playing cards with her family, shopping, and accompanying Sunny with his state fair activities. She had a love for children and would take community children shopping and was like a second mother to close friends and nieces. Marjorie was involved in the Howard County Extension Homemakers, 4-H Leader, Tutor for Northwestern School Corporation, and a member on the board for the Kokomo Symphony. She was even awarded the Jane Award with the Howard County Extension Homemakers.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Lois (Dave) Combs, Scott (Pam) Sinnamon, Zac Sinnamon, and John (Michelle) Sinnamon; grandchildren, Jaqueline (Wes) Berkshire, Natalie (Jamie) Combs, Allie (Colby) Combs, Victoria (Jeremy) Combs, Madeline Sinnamon, Naomi Sinnamon, and Eli Sinnamon; great grandchildren, Anna Berkshire, and Tate Berkshire; sister, Carolyn Scott; sisters-in-law, Bev Metcalf, Sue Metcalf; brothers-in-law, Leonard Hartman, Jim Ferenc, George Ferenc, and Frank Renfro; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband of 57 years, Sunny, Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Mildred Metcalf; sisters, Wilma (P.A.)Schini, Dorothy Hartman, and Margaret (Donald) Laag; brothers, John (Phyllis) Metcalf, Forrest Metcalf, Cleo Metcalf, Perry Metcalf, and Russell (Cheryl) Metcalf; and brother-in-law, Dan Scott.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main Street Russiaville, with Pastor John Kolb officiating. Burial will follow in Barnett Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Stout & Son Funeral Home.
