Marilyn Eller Obituary

Marilyn J. Eller, 86, Kokomo, passed away at 10:45 am Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Waterford Place. She was born March 14, 1933, to the late Dale and Pauline (Carter) Rodkey.

Marilyn attended Northwestern High School and graduated in 1952. She married Charles Eller on May 5, 1952, at the Burlington Church of Christ, and he survives. She worked and volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo for 28 years assisting patients. She enjoyed traveling and went to Sarasota, Florida for the last 24 years in the winter. Marilyn loved to sing and was involved in the choir at Burlington Church of Christ where she was a member.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Kym Eller; sister, Janet Barnett; aunt, Pat (Bob) Spitler, several nieces and nephews; and special friends Richard and Betty Smith.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Jerry Barnett.

Marilyn's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Waterford Place and St. Vincent Hospital Hospice for the care she received while she was there.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main Street, Russiaville, with Pastor David Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in South Union Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family 1-3 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's memory to St. Vincent Hospital, Burlington Church of Christ, or Wounded Warrior Project. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.
