Manpreet Singh, 33, of Kokomo, passed away at 12:30 am on Friday April 18, 2025, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on November 26, 1991, in Punjab, India, son of Kulwinder Singh and Satwant Kaur. On June 27, 2018, he married Melissa Duncan in Kokomo, and she survives.
Manpreet received a bachelor's degree in computer science in Punjab, India. He owned and operated Zaika Indian Cuisine in Kokomo. Manpreet loved to spend time with his children and traveling to Chicago and New York City. He enjoyed going to the beach and getting together with family and friends. Manpreet was a chef and enjoyed trying new recipes especially different kinds of Indian cuisine.
Along with his wife, Melissa, he is survived by his children, Harmanpreet “Pari” Kaur, Mason Lee Singh, Zayden Preet Singh, and Ellianna Saanvi Singh; parents, Kulwinder Singh and Satwant Kaur; and former wife and mother of Harmanpreet, Ramandeep Kaur.
A prayer service celebrating Manpreet’s life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11 am, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, Kokomo. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9 am to 11 am on Friday at the funeral home. Following the service in Kokomo there will be a Prayer Service at Gurudwara Sahib (Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis) Temple, 10950 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis, IN. 46239.
