Mabel Vondetta Wagner Obituary

Mabel Vondetta Wagner, 89, of Camp Verde, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2025. She was born on September 7, 1936, in Fagan, Kentucky, the daughter of Leonard and Emma (Robbins) Rogers. On December 21, 1957, in Kokomo, Indiana, she married Jack Wagner, and he preceded her in death on August 31, 1987.

Mabel attended Kokomo High School. She retired after 28 years of service from Delco Electronics working as a Lead Parts Operator. Mabel previously worked as a Salesclerk at Turners Dept. Store. She enjoyed sewing, beading, needle point, knitting, and reading.

Mabel is survived by her sister, Susie (Sam) Quillen; granddaughter, Ashley Harris; great grandson, Logan Harris; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, Jack Wagner, Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard & Emma Rogers; son, Jeffery Wagner; sisters, Loma Hamilton, and Anita Harris; and brothers, Glenn Rogers, and Gilbert Rogers.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 115 W. Lincoln Rd. Kokomo, IN 46902, with Pastor Jason Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
