Linda J. Parker

Linda J. Parker, 72, of Kokomo, passed away at 10:40 pm, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. She was born on August 13, 1952, in LaFollette, TN, the daughter of the late Carnus Taylor and Edna Bonnie (Pyle) Parker.

She was a 1970 graduate of LaFollette High School. She worked as a housekeeper at St. Mary’s Hospital in LaFollette, TN. Linda enjoyed gardening and went to church anytime she could. She loved the Lord and was a part of the Baptist Church and Church of God.

Linda is survived by her four sisters, Anna Mae Rutlidge, Mary McKoon, Wilma Earnheart, and Bonnie Parker; brother, Robert E. Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carnus Parker Jr.

A funeral service celebrating Linda’s life will be held at 1 pm, Monday, August 11, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory – Jefferson Street, 414 W. Jefferson St. Kokomo, IN 46901. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am until the time of the service on Monday, August 11, 2025.
