Linda Kay Glassburn

Linda Kay Glassburn, 60, of Kokomo, IN passed away at 12:10 AM on October 1, 2022, at Community Howard Regional Health Hospital surrounded by her family. Born July 10, 1962, she was the daughter of Jerry and Katie (Washington) Glassburn. 

She attended Northwestern High School and graduated in 1980. After high school, she attended Rudea’s School of Beauty and Ivy Tech. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great niece. She was an avid animal lover and spoiled a number of dogs during her lifetime. She loved the beach and spending time in the sun. During the 80s and 90s she worked in various stores and restaurants where she touched the lives of numerous people along the way. In the 2000’s Linda worked at Howard Community Health System. 

Linda is survived by her fiancé, Chuck Piker; son, Jason (Kim) Shook; grandchildren, Atticus Shook, Konner (Shook), Lilly Hughes, Noah Piker, and Ryland Piker; two brothers, Ronnie (Rhonda) Glassburn and Nick (Tracy) Glassburn; nieces and nephews, Kenzie (Jacob) Glassburn, Sydney (Anthony) Catt, Kory (Michele) Glassburn; and two great nieces, Elizabeth Catt and Raeylnn Hurley.

She was preceded in death by her mother.   

In lieu of funeral services, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
