Lewis Pinnick Obituary

Lewis E. Pinnick, 70, Lafayette, went to be with the Lord at 2:59 am on Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was born on August 4, 1951, to the late Harold E. and Louvica J. (Nicholls) Pinnick. 

Lewis grew up on his parents' farm in Tippecanoe County. He attended Wainwright & Jefferson High Schools. He was a supervisor for Ice Cream Specialties and retired in 2016. He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and feeding the birds at Aster Place. He was an avid baseball and football fan. He enjoyed cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers, Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts, and the Indiana Pacers.

Lewis is survived by his sisters, Vicki Prather of Kokomo, IN and Ethel (Paul) Stephenson of St. Joseph, MI; brother, Donald (Donna) Pinnick of Jonesboro, AR; nieces and nephews, Lynn McTheeney of South Haven, MI; Michael Ball of Ostego, MI; David (Jacqueline) Prather of West Lafayette, IN; Kristina Welsh of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Sherry (Todd) Mulford of Madison, MS; Kimberly (Aaron) Caples of Bono, AR; Travis (Mary) Pinnick of Jonesboro, AR; 15 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold I. Pinnick of Great Falls, MT.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville. Friends may visit with the family from 2 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
