Laura Michelle "Shelly" Brown

Laura Michelle “Shelly” Brown, 51 years old, formerly of Sharpsville, IN, passed away 4:00 am Thursday April 16, 2026, at Homewood Health Nursing Home in Lebanon, IN. She was born January 31, 1975, in Kokomo to Marshall “Al” and Kathy Sue (Teter) Brown.

Shelly was a 1995 graduate of Tri Central High School. She formerly worked at IMMI as a machine operator. She loved the Lord and was very strong in her faith. She was skilled at arts and crafts. Shelly’s favorite hobbies were cooking, baking, and decorating cakes.

She is survived by her sisters, Angie Fenoglio, Westfield, IN, Beth Brown, Frankfort, IN; nephews, Nathaniel McGrath, Frankfort, IN; and friend, Debbie Eaton, Kokomo, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service celebrating Shelly’s life will take place at 11:30 am on Thursday May 7, 2026, at Sharpsville Cemetery, 414 E Elm St., Sharpsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Stout & Son Funeral Home – Sharpsville Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
