Kathleen Ann (Walker) Crone, 86, Kokomo, passed on March 25, 2026 in her home. She was born March 16, 1940, in Kokomo, the daughter of Phyllis (Flynn) and George Walker. On September 2, 1961 she married Michael Crone.
Kathleen graduated from the St. Joseph Academy in 1958. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. In her early days, she spent her time raising her daughters, she enjoyed gardening, canning and crafting. She was also an avid animal lover. During her time as a homemaker she ran her own business, making items for friends, family and those in the community. She worked as a lunch lady at Wallace School while her daughters were growing up and then as a receptionist for Family Chiropractic. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.
Kathleen is survived by her three daughters, Renée (Chris) Kinney, Michelle Crone, Andrea (Michael) Mason; her grandchildren, Kathryn “Katie” Berry, Jordan Owens, Ezra Berry, Sydney McIlrath, Nolan Mason, Dalton Berry and Colin Mason; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Freya Owens; and multiple siblings.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Phyllis and George Walker; and husband, Michael in February of 2025.
She will be interred at Sunset Memory Garden. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 12th from 1-3 at the Knights of Columbus, 1631 Foxfire Lane, Kokomo, IN 46902 for friends and family to remember Kathleen and her husband, Mike. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kathleen’s memory to the Kokomo Humane Society. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
