Karen M. (Synesael) Miller, 75, Kokomo, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at 11:40 p.m. in North Woods Village, Kokomo. She was born, in Lafayette, Indiana, on January 25, 1943, to John and Margaret (DeHahn) Synesael.
She married Ivan Miller on July 23, 1960, in Lafayette, and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2008.
She was a farmer’s wife, hairstylist and a cake decorator at Kroger’s.
Karen was a member of Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting, being around family and friends and had a heart of gold. She was a truly loving and giving person.
Surviving are her son, Tony (Robin) Miller, Tucker, Georgia; daughter, Teresa (Dave) Zimmerman, Logansport, Indiana; and grandchildren, Hope and Jasmine; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan Miller; son, Terry Miller; brother, Chuck Synesael; and sisters, Janice Stapleton and Joan Lane.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church, 5051 E. 400 N., Kokomo, Indiana, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday also at the church, with Pastor Jeanne Winter officiating. Burial will follow the service in Kokomo Zion Cemetery.
