Judy Ann Gray

Judy Ann Gray, 73, Kokomo, passed away at 2:08 pm on Thursday January 6, 2022, at her home.  She was born to the late Everett and Virginia (Robertson) Williams on February 16, 1948.  On January 12, 2012, in Kokomo, she married Michael L. Gray and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2020.

Judy was a 1966 graduate of Kokomo High School.  She worked for Delco Electronics and after 30 years of service she retired in November 2001.  She was a member of UAW Local #292 and enjoyed trips to casinos.

Judy is survived by her children, Nicole Cockrell and Chad (fiancé Kasey Thompson) Cockrell; grandson, Tyler Cockrell; siblings, Marjorie (Larry) Bales, Thomas “Tommy” (Jill Quackenbush) Williams. Dottie (Larry Weeden) Salsbery; stepchildren, Bethanne (Freddie) Davis, Julie (Jason) Young, Gary Cockrell, Laura (Keith) Myers, Gary Cockrell, Marilyn Lee, Valerie Atkins, and Shannon Cockrell; and many step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; first husband, Harlan Cockrell; sister, Drama “Fuzzy” Doyle; and brother, Glenn Williams

A funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Sunday January 9, 2022, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, with Donnie Hughes officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at 2:30 pm on Tuesday January 11, 2022, at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.
