Joshuwa Lee Weaver

Joshuwa Lee Weaver, 43, of Converse, passed away at 2:02 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born November 3, 1979, in Kokomo, the son of Andrew A. Weaver and Kimberly K. (Morris) Weaver.

Josh attended Eastern High School and Ivy Tech Community College.  He loved to cook and enjoyed watching Food Network.  He was a collector of art, toys, vinyl and sculptures, and he loved animals, especially his recue dog, Max.

Survivors include his parents; brother, Kaiden Weaver; aunts, Stacy (Brian) Hamilton, Stephanie (Donnie) Dykes, Cathy (Larry) Goins and Susan Weaver; uncle, Doug (Carolyn) Weaver; many cousins; and his dog, Max.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phil & Sue Morris and Jack & Dorothy Weaver; aunt, Amy Jackson; and uncle, Russell “Rusty” Weaver.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Christian Life Fellowship, 1009 Holiday Dr., Greentown, with Pastor Gary Hoover officiating.  Private burial will take place Wednesday in Mast-Hensler Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.  Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
