Jonnie Joe Webber

Jonnie Joe Webber, 88, Kokomo, passed away on Sunday November 21, 2021, at Century Villa, Greentown.  He was born to the late Imel and Dorothy (Hopper) Webber on April 11, 1933, in Windfall, IN.  On February 23, 1952, in Greentown he married Shirley Kimmel and she survives.

Jonnie was a 1951 graduate of Eastern High School.  He was a farmer all his life and drove a school bus for 46 years for Taylor School Corporation. Jonnie was a member of the Greentown Lions Club for 61 years and a 4-H leader for 65 years.  He was an Indiana High School Basketball Referee, a member of Christian Life Fellowship and served on the Howard County Farm Bureau Board.

Along with his wife of 69 years, Jonnie is survived by his children, Bradley (Donnette) Webber, Connie (Glen) Webber Porter, and Joette Webber; grandchildren, Kari (Bret) Porter Ellis and Kayla (Zack) Webber White; great-grandchildren, Isabelle Ellis, Laney White and Grayson White.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jack Webber.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday November 30, 2021, at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 East Main St., Greentown, with Pastor Logan Sparling officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 12 pm to 2 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made in Jonnie’s memory to the Howard County 4-H Exhibit Association.   Messages of condolence may be left online at www.hasler-stout.com.
