John W. Everhart

John W. Everhart, 73, of Kokomo, passed away at 3:20 pm, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Kokomo Healthcare Center. He was born on October 2, 1951, in Kokomo, the son of the late John William and Margaret J. Everhart.

John went to school for welding at Ivy Tech. He worked as a laborer with Wolf Insulation for 20 years. He enjoyed playing softball.

He is survived by his children, Alice Small; John Everhart, and Jacob Everhart; sisters, Pam Everhart, Diane Everhart, and Darlene Everhart; brother, Mike Everhart, 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Everhart and granddaughter, Kaylee Everhart.

In keeping with John’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory Services have been entrusted with cremation.
