John Wolf

John Wolf, 86, Kokomo, passed away at 1:30 am on Friday June 3, 2022, at Waterford Place.  He was born to the late Johan and Loise (Plohner) Wolf, on July 20, 1935, in Poysdorf, Austria.  On June 5, 1981, in Kokomo, he married Ursula Cook, and she survives.

John graduated from high school and college in Austria. He worked as a supervisor in the Drafting Department for General Motors and retired in 1994.  He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, Wood Carving Club in Converse and the Elk’s Lodge.  He enjoyed woodworking and wood carving. He was very proud of the fact that he helped in the design and installation of the stain glass windows at the Upper Deer Creek church.

Along with is wife of 41 years, Ursula, John is survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Friedl Hardt; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
