Jay K. Lee, 79, Kokomo, passed away at 4:45 am on Saturday January 1, 2022, at his home. He was born in Akron, IN, on April 4, 1942, to the late Earl K. “Juggie” and Lauretta (Combs) Lee. On August 6, 1987, in Punta Gorda, FL. He married Teresa Kodrea, and she survives.
Jay was a graduate of Rochester High School and attended Indiana University Kokomo. He worked for Chrysler Corporation and retired after 24 years of service. He served his country in the United States Army 1st Cav during the Vietnam War. He was a member of UAW Local #685, American Legion and the VFW. Jay loved spending time with his family going to car shows, listening to music, fishing, riding motorcycles and time spent with his beloved pet, Lala.
Along with his wife, Jay is survived by his children Justin (Shu) Lee and Stacie (Andrew) Ross; stepsons, Robert Kodrea and Matthew Kodrea; grandchildren, Addison Ross and Truman Ross; brother, Jerry (Barb) Lee; and nephews, Arik (Deb) Lee and Nik (Laura) Lee.
He was preceded is death by his parents.
