James "Terry" Holloman

James “Terry” Isreal Holloman, 65 years old, of Sharpsville, passed away Saturday July 5, 2025, at his home. He was born in Kokomo, IN, on May 16, 1960, the son of James H. and Beulah (Neese) Holloman. On March 5, 2005, he married Mary E. Smith, and she survives.

Terry attended Tri Central School Corp. growing up. He worked as a semi-truck driver, handyman, laborer, and was the gravedigger at Sharpsville Cemetery for most of his adult life. Terry was the most loving and caring man. He cherished spending time talking with his family and friends. He was musically gifted and enjoyed playing the guitar with his good friend Bill Shaffer. His favorite hobbies were fishing and reading the Bible. Terry adored his loyal canine friend named Kane.

In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by his children, April Holloman, Zane Holloman, Bonnie Smith, Michael Smith; father, James H. Holloman; stepdaughters, Sarah (Kenny Sr.) Radabaugh, Heather Gideon; stepson, Gene Pitcher; grandchildren, Julian Holloman, Marshall Holloman, Thaddeus Holloman, Karsen Kuyoth Akers, Marley Holloman; sister, Lesa Cox; sisters-in-law, Janet Sweezy, Helen Woodruff; step-grandchildren, Colten Gideon, Remington Gideon, Kenny Radabaugh Jr., Kendra Radabaugh, Ricki Radabaugh; step-great-grandchildren, Memphis Benge, Oaklynn Radabaugh.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Holloman; daughter, Krista Holloman; and his best friend like a brother, Wayne Cooper.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Stout & Son Funeral Home – Sharpsville Chapel, 204 N. Church St., Sharpsville, IN 46068. A funeral service celebrating Terry’s life will begin at 1 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home, with Chaplain Adam Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery.
