Jalaine Alice Cashman, 79, Kokomo, passed away at 2:02 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born October 28, 1939, in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, to Herbert and Alice (Schoeder) Meyer. On August 13, 1960, she married Roger F. Cashman, in Reedsburg, and he survives.

Jalaine graduated from Webb High School, in Reedsburg, in 1958. She worked as a bookkeeper for Carl Ann and had also worked for La Mode Shoppe and for Woolworth in Wisconsin.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Karrie (James) Young, Darren Cashman and Brett (Carol) Cashman; grandchildren, Brittany (Louie) Wilkinson, Chelsea (Zach) Ellis, Kourtney Wainscott, Dr. Jessica (Zach) Boram and Joshua Cashman; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Ellis, Evelyn Ellis and Maverick Boram; brother, Harlan (Joan) Meyer; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Tina Cashman; two brothers; and a sister.

In keeping with Jalaine’s wishes, no public services will be held. Cremation has been entrusted to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Kokomo. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
