Ida L. (Dillman) Wolfe, 90, Kokomo, died at 11:25 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at Kindred Healthcare. She was born February 6, 1925 in Sharpsville, Indiana, the daughter of Carl & Frieda L. (Williams) Shuck.
She was a 1938 graduate of Sharpsville High School and a member of Stars of Light Church. Ida was a certified reflexologist, iridologist, nutritionist, and peer counselor. She had served as the secretary of Miracle Believers and as vice president of the Area V Nutrition Meal Planning Board. She was a member of the Kokomo AARP # 404, the national AARP, Kokomo Senior Citizens Center and Concerned Women for America. She was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Team, American Red Cross Blood Mobile, Howard Community Hospital, One Church – One Inmate, Kokomo Housing Authority Resident Review Board, and the Terrace Towers Monthly Newsletter.
Survivors include her son Robert W. Dillman Jr. of Kokomo, Sisters, Martha J. Mahurin of Kokomo, Juanita Odishooe of Michigan, Sharon Cardwell of Sharpsville, Edith Burnett of Sharpsville; brothers, Ralph Roy Shuck of Michigan, Robert Shuck of Virginia, Ronald N. Shuck of Elwood, and Donald T. Shuck of Brownsburg and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Doris JoAnne Shuck, Madonna Holder and Virginia Batey and four brothers, Michael Shuck and Max Shuck, Fred Shuck and Frank Shuck.
The family will be holding a memorial service at 11:00 am Saturday at Stars of Light Church, 809 S. Elizabeth Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Tim Tranbarger officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stars of Light Church. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
