Helen Sue Weirauch, 67, left this world to be united with her Savior, husband, mom, dad, brother, sister, and nephews in heaven on September 9, 2025.
Helen was born on June 7, 1958, in Tipton, Indiana to Mildred Bryant and Willie Dodd. In 1965, Helen adopted Dominic Lazaro as her dad. Helen and her siblings were raised by Mildred and Dominic in Kokomo, Indiana.
On February 1, 1991, Helen married Richard Weirauch who preceded her to heaven in 2014. Helen was well known around Kokomo for her cooking, especially her biscuits and gravy. Helen battled cancer with the help of Community Howard Oncology Department and her special friend, Mari Cruz Lamberson and was proudly in remission. Helen was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW Post 1152. Helen loved spending time with and cooking for her family. Helen also enjoyed watching Sunday football, court shows, and true crime shows.
Helen is survived by her children James (Billie) Clark, Jamie Rodriguez, and Levi Dodd, her siblings Dale Dodd, Brenda Thompson, Melba (Fred) Hochstedler, Phylis Boyles, Dan (Jackie) Dodd, and Jack (Brenda) Dodd, her grandchildren Anthony (Brooke) Rodriguez, Preston Clark & Hannah Williams, Desirae Rodriguez & Dean Kaczorowski, Mercadise Grills, Toby Brown, Bethanie Warnock, and Terry Warnock III, great grandchildren Ayla, Emma, Olivia, AveLynn, Sofia, Baby Kaczorowski, Ryder, Ryatt, Niko, and Mitchell. Helen had a special love for her many nieces and nephews. Helen is also survived by her former husband and friend, James Clark, that she had a special bond with and special friends Martin and Selena. Helen will also be missed deeply by her dogs Mosie and Miller.
Helen was reunited in heaven with her husband, Rick, mom and dad, Mildred and Dominic, sister Zoetta Clifton, brother Christopher Lazaro, brother in law, Bob Bell, and nephews Brandon Dodd and Scott Dodd.
A funeral service celebrating Helen’s life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 3pm at Stout and Son Funeral Home, 200 E Main St, Russiaville, with Jack Dodd officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1pm to 3pm. Donations may be made in Helen’s memory to the Community Howard Oncology Department and Guardian Angel Hospice.
